All of Rosa's entries are in a style that is instantly recognizable, which is one of the acquired skills of a truly fine artist. I really like the use of the “mandala” type imagery in the winning entry. While many may have only heard the word mandala in connection with oriental art or being used by religions other than Christianity, its purpose by definition is to be: /a schematized representation of the cosmos, chiefly characterized by a concentric configuration of geometric shapes, each of which contains an image of a deity or an attribute of a deity./ Well done Rosa. And in her own words:

“I paint in watercolours, preferring bright colours but all giving some impression or insight into the nature of God, our response to God or events in the Bible."

About this picture: This is my response to 'God spoke: "Earth green up! Grow all varieties of seed-bearing plants, every sort of fruit-bearing tree and there it was. Well done, Rosa! This image also appears on the cover of Retreats Magazine in the UK (which cover the activities in many retreat houses for the full year) and I think it's made it one of the most distinctive and best selling editions ever!
