It may not happen as soon as we like but eventually those who cringe at tattoos and hide their self righteous and judgmental attitudes behind one passage of the old covenant in Leviticus, decrying marking of bodies, will realize the new covenant has no such law. We should display our faith in God with all of our mind, heart, soul, and strength. It doesn’t matter if it is art on our walls, bumper stickers on our cars, or tattoos on our bodies.
While God judges us by our hearts, motives, and desires, Jesus boldly declared in John 8:15, “You judge according to the flesh, I judge no man…” So, I say it’s more dangerous to judge others than to have tattoos. I don’t have a tattoo but several of my friends do. Thank you for this beautiful painting that more honestly represents what matters to Jesus.

I've even got a friend at church who taught the teen girls that ear-piercing is a sin. But Rebecca (OT) was even given a big nose ring as a godly engagement "ring." Still, 1 Thes, 5:22 says, "Abstain from all appearance from evil," so itmakes sense to cover yout tattoo in certain company. 1 Cor. 8:13 says, "If meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth." The key is "while the world standeth." In other words, some things will go in and out of fashion, so there will always be ignorant folks to accomodate until Christ returns. For ex., pink used to be the color of WAR, very masculine, whereas blue was a female color , similar to water (The lake, SHE is beautiful!") Also, I don't like to shave my legs at all. I frequently cut myself. So WHY must I shave my legs? The Virgin Mary never did! Answer: to not look like a lesbian. Fashion is wacky. I was a fashion design major once, and I PROMISE you that the history of fashion is wacky, wacky, WACKY!!

the best Tat is the one where the Lords prints his 10 commandments in our heart.
