The subject of "Forgiven" can never be exhausted. Every time an artist creates a beautiful image about forgiveness, I believe it lodges in our hearts, minds, and spirits as a reminder that we are to forgive if we are to be forgiven. I have always been delighted with Penny's work.

Here is Penny's artist statement: This is a "Mucha Study" of John 8:11. As a recovering addict married to a recovering addict, forgiveness is an issue to be addressed. It is through the redeeming blood of Christ and through His forgiveness that I have learned such peace...which I tried to express in this piece. The tattoo on the hand is a creative version of the hebrew letters for LOVE.

This looks like it would make a good T-shirt, coffee mug, school folder, or Bible cover. Also a postcard. I can imagine someone writing an "I forgive you" or an apology to a friend on this stationery. Congrats! She sure is gorgeous, you can almost really understand how someone gets into such trouble, looking that good and all. Quite realistic, I suppose. Beauty has its price, usually.
